Dancing can be and is a very spiritual act. Some people were born with the desire to move their bodies to the music. The CHO of Small Talk & Co., Jae Haile’ Phillips is one of those people. He gave up his career of Mechanical Engineering to pursue his passion for dancing and Small Talk. You can find the Chief Happiness Officer dancing on any random street corner, bank line, grocery store aisle, or studio near you. Jae loves music, he considers himself a Musicologist. He requests that if you have any cool, groovy songs that you love, please share them with him. He is dancing the Amy Winehouse-”In My Bed”(CJ Remix). in his pink “Minneapolis” T-shirt at Social Dance Studio (www.socialdancestudio.com).
Hi Everybody! Jae Haile’, Butchy Boo, and Willy Hayes went to the University of Minnesota Campus to hang out with some of the Gopher students and learn a little about what they like on T-shirts. We made friends and had fun, like normal. Look for Small Talk T-shirts on a campus near you! We go all over and do everything. Don’t forget we can make T-shirts on the Spot at any of your College events!!!
Chief Happiness Officer, Jae Haile’ made Butchy Boo(President of Promotions) get up and do a Freestyle to help us maintain our fun, light-hearted energies!…Thanks Butchy Boo!

We would LOVE for the world to know that, Small Talk & Co. believes in Angels. We really, actually believe that invisible, mystical beings fly around the heavens and Earth helping Humans out. Angels are awesome because they hang around us waiting for instructions from us and figure out how they can improve our lives. We all have our own personal set of Angels devoted and dedicated to just us. Their duty is to provide protection, guidance, motivation, inspiration along with other similar good ‘stuff ‘ like that! Imagine having a small army of supernatural and superhuman beings at your beck and call. Guess What !!? You do. You can say that the Angels see us as task masters and they are waiting for you to give them a task…so try them out and give them one. More to Come!
Part 2 Angels and Breathing
Breathing is important because it is a very important way for Angels to communicate with us. They infuse information that they feel we could use or that we asked for, within the O2 Molecules that we breath in. When you breath these O2-filled Molecules, then you are receiving a message from one of your guardian angels. So BREATH!

SMALL TALK: Is This the Boldest Shirt You have seen…
Blake: NO
SMALL TALK: Do You Lke This Shirt ?
Blake:I LIke the Colors Size of Letters and Artistic Value of SHirt…I think It has a very limited market
SMALL TALK:Do you think shirt will be effective…
Blake: NO
SMALL TALK: What would you think If you saw Somebody wearing This shirt?……
Blake: On One Side… I would think ‘Thats a good Thing’….On the other Side…I would think …’why dont people just stop killing people’
SMALL TALK: Actually those are very common reactions from the Humans. The Reason why we point out ‘Black People’ in particular is because we feel it makes the message more poignant. We understand and have faith that the rest of us will realize whether, inspired this shirt or on their own, that All People need to stop Killing Each Other.
Thank You Blake!

CONVERSATION WITH SONI

Topic: Black People Stop Killing Each Other T-shirt
Conversation:
Small Talk:Do you like the t-shirt?
SONI:No. I’m a person of comfort. It makes me uncomfortable.
Small Talk: Why don’t you like it?
SONI:I’m not black and I don’t know how to respond to. What is the Correct Response?
I would never wear a shirt that says White People Stop Killing Each Other. Because it’s around death and violence and its not something I want to wear on a shirt.
Small Talk: What will it take in the whole wide world for you to Wear this shirt?
SONI: I don’t know. I would not know peoples response to me i.e “who are you to wear that shirt?”. I think I would be viewed as some what of racist for wearing it.
Small Talk: What if you saw a person on the street with this shirt?
SONI: I would think “That’s an interesting statement” and then I’ll probably ignored it .
Small Talk: Does the shirt make an impact on you?
SONI: It would certainly catch my attention, I guess it’s a good thing to say…It’s a very poignant about a very specific topic.
Small Talk: If you saw a black guy with this shirt on,How will it effect your affinity of black men?
SONI: I would probably be turned off from that particular guy.
sidenote:There are certain things about that black culture that I don’t understand or relate to:
1) African-American culture seems so communal yet exclusive.
2) I feel there is a little bit of a Preachiness within some diologue of African-Americans.
If I saw a black person wearing that shirt, my first assumption will be that he is very pro-black and not very interested in white people. Now, Im not saying that is true, that would just be my initial interpretation.
Small Talk: Is this the Boldest Shirt you’ve ever seen?
SONI: One of the Boldest without being very raunchy or sexual
Small Talk: Do you hope this shirt is effective?
SONI: I definitely hope it’s effective. Anything that promotes peace and attention to something important is good, whether I relate to it or not.
We are SO Excited about the “I AM MUSIC” T-shirt. Have you ever loved music so much that you knew it was more than just love that you have for music…you come the realization that you ARE MUSIC! Well we did, So we decided to share our revelation with others. Music vibrates at similar frequency as the molecules that make up our body. Specific Musical Vibrations match frequencies of some of our bodies…which is why some songs resonate with us more than others. For Instance, If you like Country Western Music then it is a good sign that the molecules that make up your body vibrate close to the specific frequency produced by the Country Western tune. Same with Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock & Roll. Many of us like all kinds of music from all over. Help us Celebrate this miracle with an “I Am Music” T-shirt;)…
We Love You.
